A Strategic Roadmap for UK Workplace Success

As mental health becomes increasingly critical to workplace productivity and employee well-being, I developed a strategic roadmap for a digital mental health solution tailored to UK organizations. This initiative identifies employee mental health priorities and outlines a phased implementation plan to foster healthier, more resilient workplaces.

Driven by a passion for improving workplace well-being, I identified actionable strategies to address employees' mental health needs, enhancing both individual satisfaction and organizational success.

Identifying the Need

This roadmap meets the growing demand for accessible workplace mental health resources, positioning digital support as a cornerstone of productive, healthy work environments.

 

Research & Methodology

Initial Research & Exploration
An in-depth literature review highlighted key trends and technologies in workplace mental health, forming the foundation for targeted solution development.

Survey Development & Pilot Testing
I designed and piloted a structured survey to gather insights from UK employees, refining the approach to prioritize clarity and relevance. The survey provided actionable data on mental health preferences and challenges.

Data Analysis & Feature Prioritization
Using the Kano Model, I categorized features into must-have, performance, and delighter categories, ensuring a balanced solution that aligns with employee needs:
 

  • Must-Have Features
    Virtual appointments, mindfulness exercises, and personalized recommendations.
     

  • Performance Features
    Wearable technology, expert-led sessions, and virtual support groups.
     

  • Delighter Features
    Emotion recognition technology and AI-powered chatbots.

  • Stage 1 (18 months)
